These Thayns are Indianapolis Bound!!!!

Okay okay, there have been a lot of questions about what we are doing and where we are going and I am happy to say Marcus has made his decisions!!

Marcus has decided to attend Indiana University-Purdue University School of Dentistry in Indianapolis Indiana! We are so excited, it feels right and we can't wait for the move!

As many of you know, Marcus also applied for the HPSP Scholarship through the Navy. This was a 4 months long process and it paid off! Marcus received the scholarship and will soon be sworn into the Navy. While this means when he is done with dental school we will spend 4 years wherever the Navy chooses, it also means that financing school will be much less of an issue! We feel so very grateful.  It is a huge blessing!! We won't owe them any money, just time :)

After much deliberation (and finding out about the Navy helped) we decided to purchase a home instead of renting for the 4 years.  So this past weekend, we took a trip in Indianapolis accompanied by my parents to look at some houses. We had done a lot of research over the past 1 1/2 months and had a few picked out that we were interested in looking at.  We also had made contact with a realtor who we adore a few weeks ago and she had added to our list of possible homes.  We spent friday and saturday looking at homes, saturday RElooked at our top picks (more than once haha the poor owners kept having to leave) and with the help of my amazing dad, we had an offer drafted up!!  All 4 of us loved the house and we were SURE!  The offer was accepted! We couldn't be more excited.  The neighborhood is amazing, its a beautiful home and we couldn't be more happy.

 Reina knew she was getting left and was NOT happy about it!

Other than that, we are going well!! Marcus is working on his final semester of undergrad and I am working and doing my mammography competencies! I absolutely love it!

Reina is still doing just dandy, we love her to pieces.  She is so funny.  We take her to Barts field a lot with Manny, she loves him!

She never fails to make us laugh.....

Its been a long road and we are so excited to have direction. We have felt very very blessed through this whole process! We think back to June and wonder how we got here! Thank you all for any love and support, we have received so much strength from our families. We honestly couldn't do it without them!!
